Scorpion Medicine the sting of Transformation. Scorpions are people too, and that’s no tail.

I AM older that you know

When Scorpion Medicine crosses your path, it will catch your attention. Might even creep you out a little. The evolutionary history of scorpions goes back to the Silurian era 430 million years ago. Making them one of the oldest life forms here on Earth. They have adapted to a wide range of environmental conditions and can be found on all continents except Antarctica. Sow, if you’re creep-ed out by Scorpion Medicine move to Antarctica.

Scorpions number about 1750 described species. Scorpions are predatory arachnids of the order Scorpiones. They have eight legs, like spider. Easily recognized by the pair of  grasping pincers, and narrow segmented tail, often carried in a forward curve over the back, ending with a venomous stinger.

ScorpionMedicine Stinger
The Business end of the Scorpion

Scorpions are generally nocturnal animals spending the day under rocks, in crevices, then come out of the darkness to hunt. Scorpions are carnivorous animals, paralyze their prey using the venomous stinger on the end of their tail, sow scorpion can eat their prey without trouble.

Scorpion stings are painful most are usually harmless to humans. For stings from species found in North America, no treatment is normally needed for healthy adults, although medical care should be sought for children, and for the elderly. More harmful stings from species found in South America, Africa, and western Asia may require medical attention.

We were here long before you arrived

The taxonomy of Scorpion has undergone changes and is likely to change further, as genetic studies are bringing forth new information. There are 13 families recognized to date. Only about 25 of these species are known to have venom capable of killing a human being.

Sound familiar? Thirteen families with 25 species known to have venom capable of killing a human being? Hey, I’m not pointing fingers here. However, I will name, names below.

As stated, there are thirteen families, coincidence maybe, and about 1,750 described species and subspecies of scorpions. In addition, there are 111 described taxa of extinct scorpions. They have been around for a while. See Spider Medicine for more Clarity.

Scorpion Facts

The body of a scorpion is divided into two parts: The head (cephalothorax) and the abdomen (opisthosoma), which is subdivided into a broad anterior with a narrow tail like postabdomen.

Most scorpions reproduce sexually, most species have male and female individuals. The courtship starts with the male grasping the female’s pedipalps with his own. Then the pair perform a “Dance” called the “promenade à deux“. In this “Dance”, once they have satisfied the other that they are of opposite sex and of the correct species, mating can commence.

What to Dance?

Well that’s enough of their personal Business. On to the good stuff of Scorpion Medicine.

Scorpion Medicine

Working in the backyard moving rock for a planter. I decided to sit down on a wooden bench overlooking the lake. For some Reason I decided to move the bench for a better view. Took the top off, and moved one leg over to the new position. Pulled the heavy top over next to the leg. Went back to grab the last leg, That’s when Scorpion Medicine crossed my path. As I reached down to pick up the leg, I felt something cold on my palm, not thinking, I lifted the leg and BANG!!!!!!!. The Business end of Scorpion Medicine let me know. Scorpion Medicine brings this Message. DON”T MESS WITH ME.

Scorpion People

Remember, Scorpion promises Transformation. Whether the transformation is calm or chaotic depends on how the energies are used. Are we channeling our passions correctly? Are we allowing our passions to override our common sense? Do we need to balance our relationships with more solitariness? Are we becoming too solitary? Do we need to merge our physical passions with our spiritual passions? Are we ignoring our psychic perceptions only to be stung? Answering these Questions personally will help one channel these energies.

Looks 3D. Cool Tatto, or is it real?

Emotions usually govern our first reactions to our experiences in life. Although instinctive emotions generate the strongest motivations for our behavior. Scorpion people are not prone to wearing their heart on their sleeve,(unlike those Cancerians and Pisceans). They need to dominate their relationships and rarely display their true feelings, holding back something of self, even during the most open and communicative moments. Although not intentionally wanting to be mysterious, they manage to appear enigmatic anyway. They hate being crossed or manipulated, and may react to such treatment with sarcasm, spitefulness, and vengeance .

Their fiery energy of Mars shines out with their enthusiasm, where it attracts and inspires others. The intensity can be overwhelming, yet subtle, their considerable energy is not aroused, or employed just to have something to do.

Unlike Aries, Scorpio is not openly combative, unless it becomes necessary. Their privacy is tightly protected, sow others get to know them only up to a point. They may not show any sign of inner struggle, however when they are after something, (or someone), their determination is fierce.

Should Scorpions not be favored in the outcome, they are neither a willing nor a gracious loser. Nevertheless, they are not arrogant, being generally interested in others, and what they have to say, although they often exhibit a self-sufficiency which implies there isn’t much they don’t already know.

Scorpions Past

Scorpion Medicine is sometimes referred to as the serpent from the Garden of Eden. So it’s possible the Snake became the fall guy to divert attention away for the real culprit. Which brings in the treachery aspect of the Scorpion.

In Egypt Scorpion was the symbol of darkness, for it brought with it the waning strength of the sun. In Greek mythology, it was the monster that caused Apollo’s horses to run wild while in the hands of Phaethon. This is often a caution for those who the scorpion is a messenger. Unless we control our passions and desires thus direct their energies appropriately, the Transformations will occur in the midst of chaos.

The ancient Sumerians believed that Scorpion Men were guardians of the Gateway of the sun, the Mountains of the East, and the Twin Gates. This creature was associated with various aspects of Istar, (as Ishara Tamtim, the scorpion-tailed Mother), Nanna, and the Phrygian Sabazius. Myth tells how the hero Gilgamesh had to make his way through the Scorpion Men to the house of the Scorpion Goddess, Siduri Sabitu. The Scorpion King depicts this story.

Astrological myths everywhere place Aquarius the Water drawer at the winter solstice, Taurus the Bull at the spring equinox, Leo the Lion at the summer solstice, and Scorpio at the autumnal equinox. Therefore it was said in Egypt, that the Scorpion killed Horus, the sun, sending him to his midwinter death and resurrection as his Mother Isis gave him rebirth. Hence Pharaoh’s daughter apparently played the part of the Water drawer or divine midwife on the banks of the Nile, as shown by the myth of Moses.

The Christ of the bible states, He replied, As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters.

Yet it’s known in those days, the women carried the water pitcher. The symbolism in this parable should not be lost. For the meaning becomes clear for those with eyes to SEE.

Photo was taken by the Japanese astrophotographer Akira Fujii shows a full view of the constellation of Scorpius. The center of our Milky Way is seen on left of the image.

In astrology the sign of Scorpio is represented by several animals. The scorpion, the eagle, and the phoenix. The Scorpio zodiac sign has been associated with transformation and rising to new heights. Known for its secretiveness and passions. It is a sign of mystery, long associated with sex, death, and rebirth. Those of this sign have great strength and an ability to inspire. They can also misuse their psychic and sexual energies.

Spirits of the four points of the year were at some time called Sons of Horus, placed as small images in the four corners of a pharaoh’s tomb. As man, bull, lion, and scorpion, (or serpent?). They were adopted by Christianity and converted into the four totems of the evangelists the four angels of the Apocalypse.

The constellation of the Scorpion is the link between the cultures of central America and those of the ancient east, possibly Mesopotamia, whose ziggurat were also similar to the Mexican pyramids. Scorpio was the same in Babylonia, India, and Greece, and the Maya of Yucatan identified the same constellation “Scorpion stars”.

Attacking from the rear
Scorpions are respected by most people smart enough to understand their nature and wise enough to give them a wide berth. They are not discriminating about what or whom they sting, only about how much poison they will inject into them when they do.

The fiery energy of Mars shines out their enthusiasm. It attracts and inspires others. Their intensity can be overwhelming. They often exhibit a self-sufficiency which implies there isn’t much they don’t already know.

Scorpio, are the most treacherous, most unscrupulous of all the minions of the money, power Signs. Scorpio holds the enviable reputation of being the most sexually magnetic and will use this power to attract its prey. Judas in Christian symbolism because of the deadly treachery implicit in their sting. This is the basis of an almost tangible magnetism, a sense of power embedded in the mysteries of the Universe.

Death and rebirth
Sex and death are often associated with the sign of Scorpio. These mysteries stimulate great passions and feelings, both are vehicles of change. Within the sex act, the two partners exchange energy and neither is ever truly the same again. Death itself is a transformation of energy so that rebirth can occur. This is Scorpion Medicine energy.

Scorpio people are passionate and emotional, with very deep feelings. Although a loyal and dedicated friend, they are fiercely competitive, subject to fits of vindictive jealousy and can be quite manipulative in pursuit of their goals.

Transmutation of poison

Reflecting dark and negative energy back to its sender
When the Scorpion Medicine appears as a totem messenger, the sense of psychic touch will become increasingly heightened. Responses to touch will grow stronger as will the ability to touch others more intensely.

Scorpions have the interesting characteristic of having six to twelve eyes. This brings in the Clarity aspect again. Despite these extra eyes, or perhaps because of them, they do not see very well. They have sensory hairs on their under bellies which allow them to pick up vibrations to help them find their way around in the dark. They are only able to distinguish light from dark and shadows.

Another unusual characteristic of the Scorpion is that they have a natural florescence and they will all glow under ultra-violet light. This is how most scientists are able to find them during their normal time of activity in the dark. After many years of research scientists are still not exactly sure what causes the Scorpion’s body to do this. The sight of a glowing Scorpion is an amazing thing to behold it is fascinating and mysterious.

The rhythm of the 4th RAY flows from a relative state of harmony. Working together to bring about a positive regulation of energy flow within the physical body. Thus Achieving a balance between the qualities of SCORPIO and TAURUS, thereby transforming negative habit patterns, will assist in maintaining good health.

In Truth, we all have a little Scorpion in us, as humans we contain all the Zodiac signs within our Consciousness. Some of these Energies are more focus than others. Thus our birth sign offers a path to the discovery of self in Totality.

Falcon Medicine

Falcon Medicine, when Worlds Collide, Falcon vs Dove.

Falcon Medicine one of the most specialized birds of prey because they error not. Their speed and accuracy are simply unmatched, because they exercise restraint.

This Falcon Medicine message is about being discriminate in our choices, choosing with accuracy and precision, exercising restraint thus reaping ultimate success and reward as we progress and soar through Life.

Are you looking at me?
Are you looking at me?

Falcon Medicine

The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird on the planet, with speeds recorded at over 200 miles per hour. It manages this astonishing speed by tucking its feet and folding back its wings and tail so that it can gravity dive-bomb its prey. It kills not simply by sheer force of impact, but by strategically punching in mid-air its prey with its clenched foot. Called the punch of Death, because its prey never knew what punched them from above.

Falcons fly high, their long narrow wing shape allows them to change direction suddenly and dive with amazing speed. Falcon Medicine people are able to rise above and quickly alter course when needed as life is never a straight line.

Yea, like down isn't a straight line...
Yea, like down isn’t a straight line…

Falcon Medicine symbolizes strength, spirit, with vision. Falcon people like to see everything that is happening around them and are very likely to initiate thus lead activities. Falcon Medicine teaches us how to recognize opportunities thus seize them through our willingness to SEE ALL the possibilities.

Falcon Medicine is the symbol of liberty, freedom, and victory. Therefore, it also symbolizes release to all those who are in bondage whether moral, emotional, physical, or spiritual.

Falcon Medicine Cosmology

Falcon is regarded for its strong predatory technique associated with the upper world – above world – of order and light, the sun and moon. The other sections of the cosmos, the middle world and underworld, are identified with Earth, a place of chaos and darkness, respectively. The three levels are joined by a cosmic axis that was depicted as a cedar tree/Tree of life?

Of course some trees are different then others
Of course some trees are different then others

Spiritual beings from the upper and underworld are always at odds with each other. What’s New?

The “forked eye surround” motif found on SECC artifacts like shells, stone tools, walls, weapons, and pottery is understood to represent the eye of falcon and is associated with the upper world. The “eye surround” motif, on the other hand, represents the underworld.

Meaningful Falcon Symbolism, The Eye of Horus

Horus, the ancient Egyptian sky god who was depicted as a falcon, most likely a Lanner or Peregrine Falcon. His right eye was associated with the sun god, Ra.

The eye symbol represents the marking around the eye of the falcon, including the “teardrop”, sometimes found below the eye. The mirror image, or left eye, represented the moon and the god Djehuti (Thoth).

Hey, what does ass-oc-ia-tion mean?

In one myth, Set and Horus were fighting for the throne of Osiris’s death, Set gouged out Horus’s left eye. The majority of the eye was restored by either Hathor or Thoth (with the past portion possibly being supplied magically). Hummm, I wonder what that mean?

When Horus’s eye was recovered, Horus offered it to his father, Osiris, in hopes of restoring life. Hence, the eye of Horus is often used to symbolize sacrifice, healing, restoration, and protection. Another meaning can be taken from the name HOR-US, and Horus they did.

Horus is a complicated deity, appearing in many different forms. This mythology is one of the most extensive of all Egyptian deities. Sow many different aspects we limit our discussion to those that ring significant.

At the same time a serious examination of the various Horuses and sources relating to them supports the possibility the roles in question are closely interrelated, sow that they may be understood as different aspects of the same divine persona.

The same persona or different?
The same persona or different?

Or, the divine persona of one deity as stolen from another deity persona?

The original form of Horus was that of a sky god, known as “lord of the sky”. The Egyptian word ” her” (hor, har), from which the god’s name is derived means “the one on high”, or “the distant one”, in reference to the soaring flight of the hunting falcon, not a reference to the solar aspect of god. No way Jose!”

If we only had eyes to SEE

Mythologically, god was imagined as a celestial falcon, whose right eye was the sun and left eye the moon. A sight to behold!…The speckled feathers of its breast are considered to be stars, while its wings are the sky that created the wind in the up lifting, opening, flapping.

In this form, Horus was apparently recognized at some of Egypt’s earliest shrines such as at Nekhen (Heirakonpolis), where she was assimilated with a number of other falcon gods. In this capacity, Horus was the patron of the Nekhen monarchy that grew into the historical pharaonic state, hence, the first known national god. Who’s eye is on the dollar bill. Enough said about that.

Fire in the Sky, could be man made
Always watching, yet can’t SEE the light

Falcon Medicine totem comes when we require higher vision, thus higher knowledge in solving current dilemmas.

Falcon Medicine is a solar emblem for success, victory and rising above a situation. Further evidence of its solar influence, Falcon is symbolic of the rising sun light in Egypt. It is also the king of all birds, thus many gods were shown with the head or body of the Raptor Falcon (including Ra).

In European tradition, the Falcon represents the huntsman and is associated with the Germanic sky-gods Wodan as well as Frigg and the trickster Loki. In European culture the Falcon is considered a warlike symbol.

At its core, Falcon Medicine represents visionary power, wisdom, and guardianship. When there is no one to fight with. The fight stops. This powerful bird awakens visionary power, and leads to life purpose. Falcon carries with it a message of transition and change.

Transmute perfection why?

Falcon Medicine attributes…

Falcon Medicine encourages us to calculate thus strategize. If we have a goal, Falcon beckon us to make plans and strategies to obtain these goals. Falcons are all about focus, strong one-pointed focus. When they show themselves, we are being called to focus on our desires and our goals, to do what is necessary to bring our desires into our reality.

The fact that Falcon is a solar creature might mean there is something in your life that you are passionate about, that needs to be brought into the light. Falcon is asking,… take action on this passion?

The things Dreams are mad of
The things Dreams are made of

However, be smart, don’t jump into something without doing research and planning… Make your passion a reality by pursuing it methodically, as with the strategy of the Falcon, who would pursue the hunt.

Very often we glean symbolic meaning and life-metaphors from stories, myths, and parables. Falcon has many symbolic lessons. This parable and myth serves as a powerful message. It illustrates that Falcon Medicine reminds us of our own potential.

falcon 5

~Peregrine Parable~

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away lived a king who received two Peregrine falcons as a gift.

This was a very honorable offering as the falcons were exquisite, and would make noble companions as the king hunted his royal grounds.

The king passed the falcons off to his gamekeeper and instructed him to train the raptors for next hunt.

The gamekeeper set about training the two Peregrine’s. One bird performed exceedingly well. However, the second bird excelled not at all. In fact, the bird never moved off its branch!

The gamekeeper was flembuseled, so he recruited the advice of an avian expert. After inspecting the bird who would not fly, the expert diagnosed it as perfectly healthy and sound. He was baffled as to why the bird would not fly.

Left with no other choice, the gamekeeper approached the king about the flightless falcon. Never turning down a good challenge, the king sent out an announcement to every village, town and rural residence within the kingdom. He set a high reward to anyone who could make the grounded falcon take flight.

Hundreds came to surmise the flightless falcon. Some tried luring the bird off its branch with bits of meat. Others chanted and sang in hopes to inspire the bird to fly. Still others poked at the bird (which was a big mistake, as falcon bit the fingers that poked at him!).

After many days of challenges and many disappointments, all attempts to prompt the raptor to fly off its branch failed.

Then came an old woman from the furthest outreaches of the kingdom. Since she kept to herself, cloistered in her small hovel, few residents in the kingdom knew anything about her. She was weathered, disheveled and smelled faintly of bog water.

As the old woman approached the falcon, she drew out a wicked-sharp blade from the folds of her garment. The crowd gasped. Would she kill the king’s falcon!?

Hardly. She used the blade to hack off the end of the branch the falcon had been stubbornly sitting upon all this time.

In a flash, the falcon’s wings unfurled, and it took off into the skies with stunning glory, grace and power.

The king marveled over the sight!

‘Woman, How did you know my falcon would take flight if you cut the branch?‘ The king asked.
From leathery lips, the wizened woman replied:

“Some souls need to be reminded, they have wings.”

Dove Medicine

Dove is actually a smaller copy of the now-extinct passenger pigeon. A study of its qualities will help in understanding Dove Medicine.

Dove’s roles as Spirit Messenger, maternal symbol and liaison, impart an inner peace that helps to live calmly and with purpose.

Dove Medicine represents the deepest kind of PEACE, the power of giving, prophecy, and the hope for a new beginning. Dove is an expression of the motherly instincts, and is connected to Mother Earth.

Doves are considered a symbol of motherhood because of their unique ability to produce their own milk. Another confirmation about maternal attributes, as well as self-sacrifice for the sake of their offspring, is that they cease foraging for food just before their babies are born. This temporary starvation ensures a purer milk formulation for their offspring.

Historically, Dove symbolism is associated with other mother figures:

  • The Mother Mary in Christian legend (care, devotion, purity and peace)
  • Ishtar in Assyrian culture (promise of hope and salvation)
  • Aphrodite and Venus (viewing the soul or a sense of higher love)
In Creation We Trust Flight in Spirit
Flying On The Wings of Dove Consciousness

Dove is the symbol of “Between Times” that shows us the veil is thinning between the Physical, Spiritual, and Mental Worlds. As you listen, your soul hears dove call, her mournful song, thus know it speaks to the deep parts of self, it stirs both our emotions, and our imaginations.

When Dove show up, it’s  a powerful time of prophecy and clear vision, seeing glimpses of the future. Seeing Dove in your life quite regularly?

It’s a sign to go within, release the past, present, future things that are troubling. Dove carries the energy of promise when there is turmoil outside.

The White Ball of Love
Bring the White Light Ball of love into your Heart

Quite your mind, take a deep breath, sit calmly, let your troubled thoughts, words and feelings go, receive the gifts of Doves Love. Then begin to heal on all levels, emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Dove’s message is to remember the purity of creative spirit at the soul level of ones true calling. Crow Medicine may help!

Thus doves help in guiding one into a new world…, full of joy, love and beauty , all of which will radiate through us and into the world.

Dove represents the Gender Feminine power of giving, prophecy, and the hope of a new beginning. She is the embodiment of the maternal instinct, the embodiment of motherhood, connected to Mother Earth and her creative abilities.

Dove reveals the veils between the spiritual and physical worlds. Her mournful song speaks to our deepest self and stirs our emotions, and our imagination. The voice of the Dove is the rain song that brings hope of a new beginning.

Letting go of the name
Be what you is. Not what you is not. People that is, is the happiest lot…

Dove Medicine is of “Between Times” and shows us the time of the thinning of the veils, between the physical and the spiritual worlds. Listen for Doves Song with Heart. The song of Dove Medicine speaks to all who hear. Its mournful tones, stir emotions, mix internal waters. Dove’s song has the most distinctive characteristic. The voice of the dove is the rain song.

Out of Doves mourning, invokes new waters of life. Its song remind us that no matter our life conditions, new waters with new life are still possible…… Mourning Dove helps us to remember that.

The Dove song tells us to mourn what has passed, yet awaken to the NOW.

Walking with White Doves song from the heart, loving, kindness, (words), that do not wound, in singing the song – even a sad one heals – transforming the wounds, transforming  in love/Love/LOVE + embracing all those who are healing, because in Doves song are the experience circles of life.

The beginning of life in the physical form to its fulfillment, coming back into the arms of Great Spirit.

Doves song is Love, pure LOVE, always seeing the wounds of others, not hurting, not putting salt in the wounds, such a strong way of healing because it is the LOVE of Great Spirit that comes through LOVE healing with its song of Love in LOVE.

Offering a Sacred Song where transformation in LOVE may take place… Because Love/LOVE is a medicine that heals and transforms the deepest wounds…

Therefore, be careful when being with Doves song ….. use it with a heart connected with Great Spirit – Remember even in “copying” words, the song of Dove has an impact. Thus using heart that is not lying in the hands of Great Spirit may bring dire consequences.

Be sure to dedicate your song to Great Spirit… Then sing… Doves song, deep from heart, be healing in Love, then… Soft words, soft in strength of LOVE. LOVE where the All-that-Is comes from…

Expanding you
Somewhere in there. There is you. Are you getting the picture?

Dove Medicine shows up in many legends and lore. They were the totem of Aphrodite the Goddess of Love, and they bore the ambrosia from the Goddesses which kept Zeus immortal, they are the symbol of sexual passion. The flock of Doves called the “Seven Sisters” in Greece is thought to be the daughters of Aphrodite, Sophia.

The Goddess of Wisdom, in the Mediterranean, is said to have descended upon animal vessels in the form of Dove. In Mexico the Dove is seen as both, the Love Goddess and the Madonna.

Spiritual Beings and the freedom of the Recapitulation
To Each Their Own

The Hebrew’s see Dove as a symbol of peace and purity…You decide…

Many of the legends and myths tell the stories of Dove being associated with the Goddesses of old. Even the Bible tells of the importance of Dove, how she is associated with Christ, and often is a symbol of Christ, standing for peace. The interesting point to note, Christ said, he didn’t come to bring peace.

Now is the time our souls have longed for, not only personally, but as Monkey Man.  Simply, through choosing to be that which we already are,… at our deepest level when we choose to walk the path of the Divine. Just remember, not all of us, want to go deep.

Dove is the essence of the Law of Allowing.

The eyes of Dove says it ALL

Which is… letting go of how we think things should be, giving ourselves permission to receive our soul’s calling straight from the Divine, Whatever!!!.

Dove sees what is under the surface, our true essence. This reminds us that in each and every one of us, is a spark of the Divine DOVE, shine our light brightly, use the gifts we have been given. When we serve our Divinely given gifts, we serve the All that is ALL. It is our birthright. To do anything less is to ignore purpose.

The time is now to fully receive our essence and purpose with open arms. The time is now to fulfill our individual parts in the Divine plan. Tune in to the energy of the Dove, and one will see underneath her seeming softness, a power that is an act of Creation itself.

Dove might be soft and gentle, however, make no mistake, she carries a power equal to the fiercest of creatures. She holds a determination to carry out her part in the Divine plan despite all obstacles, interferences, in spite of fear, or unsteadiness.

We need not war with others around us, we need only tap into the infinite potential that we carry, and cherish it. Always remembering the delicate balance between the SEVEN given and received, inner power versus outward action, serving others and caring for self, the ever present ebb, flow, rhythm, of Spirit.

Dove teaches that in order to soar, one must know when to open their wings, therefore allow the wind to take us to new heights. If she/he were to sit on a branch looking to the sky, hoping the wind will pick them up, they would never move. However, without surrendering to the wind in her wings, she would never experience the exhilaration of flying higher and higher.

The more we let go, the less that keeps us. The more we tap into the infinite power of Creation, thus fly higher than we ever thought possible. It’s time to let go of ground, let the wind fill our wings and take us, knowing that we have everything we need.

Dove Medicine symbol of the soul’s release from its earth-bound duty. Dove and Falcon both earth and the air, doves serve as liaisons between intuitive thought and common reality. This ability to move between two worlds (sky and earth), bird totems uniquely funnel higher knowledge down to the Mastery of Awareness. They link intangible knowing (thought, dreams, intuition), with physical practicality (hearth, home, security).

Doves represent the balance between thought (air) and matter (earth). Bridging the link between the mind and the material level in which we live. Makes dove a perfect guide for dream interpretation as well.

Bird totems offer inspiration/air combined with a grounding element to make ideas implementable.(Tools?)

Dove represents Peace. It soothes and quiets our worried troubled thoughts, enabling renewal in the silence of the mind.

Dove’s singing is most prevalent when the veils between the Material and Spiritual worlds are thinnest, first light in the morning, last light at Sunset, one can SEE through them.

The Mixing of Medicines
The Mixing of Medicines

Personally, I mentioned an experience, in the perception of my consciousness, I had a while back. The one I touched on is the perception of Falcon swooping down, and killing a Dove.

I heard the BANG when they hit the deck. I walked around the house to find the source of the BANG. I saw Falcon and Dove in the mixing of their Medicines.

This had a profound effect on ME, Thus the cause for this post. As this was my first Falcon up close. Wouldn’t you know it? It punched a Dove. What this means to Me, brings this sharing. This Duelality brings the perception as per request.

Each brings their messages:

Falcon Medicine and Dove Medicine alike.

I envision this vision through my personal power, I find meaning for both as applied to me. After all it is my vision. What it mean to you, is not personal. I might ask,… had you seen this vision, but alas.

A bird that has caught its prey, and is feeding, is an omen of abundance.

Falcon Medicine the power to leave this world behind singing the Love song of Dove Medicine.

Thus was Dove killed?… or did Dove sacrifice self to Falcon, sow that Falcon may rise to higher heights. Some call it the big BANG!!! This is what happens when Medicines mix.

These are the things that Dreams are made of.

Since we are only here for short while. It appears to me that leaving this world in the peace of Dove, plus + being pinched out by Falcon from above is the beast of both worlds. The Duelity has ended. What more could one ask?

A special thanks to friends, who inspired me to be more than I AM.

The power in Spirit.

Deer Medicine

Deer Medicine, it’s been a long time coming

Deer Medicine, Gentleness in Balance

Deer Medicine teaches gentleness in word, thought, touch, and being. By observing the ways deer behaves, it is possible to see the amazing qualities, and powers they possess. From Deer Medicine we learn the gift of gentleness, caring, unconditional Love.

To help us overcome and put aside many testing situations. For only in Love of both ourselves, and others, do we understand the true meaning of wholeness.

With Deer Medicine we gain the ability to listen with grace, compassion, and unconditional love, we find appreciation for the beauty of balance. The true meaning of Polarity.

Understanding the necessity for survival, balanced in the power of gratitude, and giving… comes the ability of sacrifice for the higher good.

Spiritual Beings
The Blinding White Light sees all.

The deer has long been considered a magical creature. The balance of true power lays in love and appreciation, along with compassion, which are symbolic in the feet of Deer.

Deer Medicine teaches us to be gentle, to touch the hearts, and minds of wounded beings who are present in our lives.

In other words, Don’t push people to change,… rather gently nudge them in the right direction.  With the love that comes from Deer Medicine. Love and accept people for who they are.

Truly a powerful lesson!!!

When Deer Medicine enters our heart, a new innocence, freshness, and sweetness is about to be awakened. New adventures are just around the corner, there’s an opportunity to express the gentle love that opens new doors.

In GOD We Trust
I kept my mouth shut, and my eyes open

Here’s my favorite story on Deer Medicine…

One day Fawn heard Great Spirit calling to her from the top of Sacred Mountain. Fawn immediately started up the trail. She didn’t know that a horrible demon guarded the way to Great Spirit’s lodge. The demon was trying to keep all the beings of creation from connecting with Great Spirit. He wanted all of Great Spirit’s creatures to feel that Great Spirit didn’t want to be disturbed. This would make the demon feel powerful, and capable of causing them to fear him.

Fawn was not at all frightened when she came upon the demon. This was curious, as the demon was the archetype of all the ugly monsters that have ever been. The demon breathed fire and smoke and made disgusting sounds to frighten Fawn. Any normal creature would have fled or died on the spot from fright.

Fawn, however, said gently to the demon, “Please let me pass. I’m on the way to see Great Spirit.”

Fawn’s eyes were filled with love and compassion for this over-sized bully of a demon. The demon was astounded by Fawn’s lack of fear. No matter how he tried, he could not frighten Fawn, because her love had penetrated his hardened, ugly heart.

Much to the demon’s dismay, his rock-hard heart began to melt, his body shrank to the size of a walnut. Fawn’s persistent love and gentleness had caused the meltdown of the demon.

Due to this gentleness and caring Fawn embodied, the pathway is now clear for all of Great Spirit’s children to reach Sacred Mountain without having to feel the demons of fear blocking their way…

I have to come to see the great spirit
I come to see the great spirit

Deer Medicine has gently nudged its way into our hearts today. We are being asked to find the gentleness of spirit that heals all wounds. Deer Medicine teaches… Use the power of gentleness to touch the hearts and minds of wounded beings who are trying to keep us from Sacred Mountain.

Like the dappling of Fawn’s coat, both the light and dark may be loved to create gentleness and safety for those seeking peace.

Geer Medicine
There’s a peace for everyone

Deer… sow Gentle you are, Loving all creatures from afar…

The flower of kindness, an embrace sow sweet, You carry the power in your feet…

Would you care for something to eat?

Up to Sacred Mountain you make your way, Opening the way for others, this very day….

Remember… Fawn can teach many lessons about unconditional love. In its true application, unconditional love means, no strings attached. Unconditional means… no conditions. Yet another can mean it to be, accept all conditions unconditionally. The gentleness of Fawn is the heart-space of Great Spirit which embodies Love of the ALL…

Deer Medicine
Resting on the path

Deer Medicine teaches how powerful it is to be of a gentle balanced demeanor, exert keen observation with sensitivity.

Deer is in tune with nature and all its principles. They are sacred carriers of peace. Showing those with Deer Medicine the power, to open their hearts, and love unconditionally!

Look into my eyes, and see the light

Contrary Deer Medicine

Contrary Deer Medicine, (Dead Deer) teaches, you are courting your fear by fighting the internal demons of negative ideas. This is a clue, that force is not always the best method. You may not be willing to love yourself enough to feel your fears, and thus, let them go. You may be projecting your fears on others, or their fears on you.

It may be others whom you fear, thus reminding you of a time when you reacted to life in much the same manner. The only true balance to power is the Love and Gentleness of Deer Medicine.

Do you see?
Do you see?

Love is the key.

Be willing to find things to love about yourself and others. Your demons will melt away. Your fears cannot exist in the same place that love and gentleness abide.

Stop pushing so hard to get others to change. Change comes from within. Apply gentleness to your present situation, become like the summer breeze, gentle, warm, and caring. Moving over, through, and around the one’s you Love.

This is our lesson for solving our present dilemma. If you use it, you will connect with Sacred Mountain, the centering place of serenity, Great Spirit will guide you on the path.

The path to a new way of life
The path to a new way of life

Deer Medicine is good power, messengers in many different ways.

Deer can be our eyes and ears if we acquire their power. They tell us what is up ahead on the road while traveling, helping us to see the future via dreams, meditation, and remind us that we should try to live lives balanced and graceful in the Vibration of Love.

Oh, Hummingbird
Without a Loving Heart. You will never taste the nectar of life.

If you are reading this… Deer Medicine has come as your totem animal, or if you are drawn to the animal through a dream or a vision.

Your spirit is now in the company of one who has long been cherished, an intermediary between the Great Mystery, and humankind. Is something blocking your path? Are you facing a demon? Become Deer Medicine.

Deer Medicine
No need to fear!… Focus will you?

Buck or Doe?

With Deer Medicine feel an acceleration of your powers of intuition. Many Shamans attribute the greatest psychic sensitivity to the Deer People.

If Deer comes close to your campfire, and hangs around, it is brought you a message from the spirit world. Thank it for coming, ask it to talk to you in a dream, in a language you can understand.

Going on a vision quest and seeing a Deer along the way, is an indication that you will meet a stranger on the trail, so study the Deer’s behavior well.

What if a man sees a buck? We won’t go there now will we?

If a woman sees a buck while traveling, it is a sign that she might meet a man up ahead who has sexual desire for her, likely he will be flirtatious. This can be a good sign or a bad sign, depending on one’s personal desires and perspective. By the same token, if a man sees a doe along the road, it is a sign that he will encounter a sensuous and flirtatious woman, a woman who would like to mate with him.

Once again the sign can be good or bad, depending on ones ethics, desires, or preference.

Yep, nothing new here… SEX, is SEX. Male and Female as separate beings.

New Human Paradigm
We Male and Female. Bring them together makes us Whole

However, Deer Medicine also teaches the lessons of Gender.

“Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes.”

Gender is not the modern trend of thought along the lines of the mental phenomena of the dual-mind idea. The word “Gender” is derived from the Latin root meaning ” to beget; to procreate; to generate; to create; to introduce”

Thus, a moment’s consideration shows that the word has a much broader and more general meaning than the term “Sex,” the latter referring to the physical distinctions, between male and female living things.

Where Sex is merely a manifestation of Gender, on a certain plane of the Great Physical Plane. Hint, the plane of organic life. Gender is solely that of creating, producing, generating, etc., its manifestations are visible on every plane of the phenomena.

Step into the light and shine

Male and Female

The part of the Masculine principle seems to be that of directing a certain inherent energy towards the Feminine principle, thus starting into activity the creative processes. Is this intent?

The Feminine principle is the one always doing the active creative work,  this is so on all planes. Is this will to create?

Yet, each principle is incapable of the operative energy without the assistance of the other. With some forms of life, the two principles are combined in one organism. For that matter, everything in the organic world manifests both genders. There is always the Masculine present in the Feminine form, and the Feminine present in the Masculine form.

When the Feminine corpuscle/electron unites with a Masculine corpuscle/proton, a certain process is begun. The Feminine particles vibrate rapidly under the influence of the Masculine energy, thus circle rapidly around the latter.

Extiction Level Event
Action at a Distance. It’s closer than you think

The result is the birth of a new atom. This new atom is really composed of a union of the Masculine and Feminine electrons, or corpuscles, when the union is formed, the atom is a separate thing, having certain properties, a life its own sow to speak, no longer manifesting the property of electricity.

The process of detachment, or separation of the Feminine electrons is called “ionization.” These electrons, or corpuscles, are the most active workers in Nature’s field.

Arising from their unions, or combinations, manifest the varied phenomena of light, heat, electricity, magnetism, attraction, repulsion, chemical affinity, and the reverse, of similar phenomena. Thus, all this arises from the operation of the Principle of Gender on the plane of Energy.

Again, the power is in the feet. Deer’s two toe’s are the same size. Separate yes,… However, they are on the one foot together.

Chomper our deer friend!! Are you Listening. The T is silent

“ In the beginning of all things, wisdom and knowledge were with the animals, for the One Above did not speak directly to man. He sent Animals to tell man that he showed himself through the beasts, and that from them, and from the stars and the sun and the moon, man should learn . . . for all things speak of the One Above.”

The Symbolic Meanings for Deer

It’s been said… any practice by which man sustains himself at the expense of other sentient beings, is considered wrong. Consider ALL non-human life to be Divine, as is human life.

Animals are an evolving kingdom/plane of living creatures destined in time to obtain perfect enlightenment. Some farther along than others. All of life is seen to be one in the ALL.

According to this conviction,… to harm any living thing, is to do injury to the One Eternal Divine Life. Since animals are considered to be traveling towards enlightenment just as man, neither are to be harmed, discouraged or hampered in their progress.

Feeling Love
Feeling Love. What’s in a feeling?

Deer Medicine has much to teach us about grace, strength, agility, intuitive spirit, and supreme adaptability.

Deer Medicine is tenderness woven within attuned power, deep listening, and quick instincts. Qualities of which we might all do well to cultivate within ourselves. Deer lives almost anywhere! Deer is gentle and vulnerable, however….

Deer Medicine is also the old “mossy-backed” stag of the forest. The mossy-back stag is so attuned to the ways of nature and presence that he is practically invisible, easily eluding the blundering presence of humans, especially those bent on his destruction. His many fingered antlers display his ability to side step death, (be it from hunters, doubt, or fear), to battle successfully for their place, and mates, thus saying yes to life.

Quit being the walnut. Surrendered to Deer Medicine, learn and explore the metaphor of Deer Medicine, to seeing what Deer has to teach, practicing Deer Medicine, (however that may unfold!), in one’s Deer life.
